L. Meyer-Waarden is assistant professor in Marketing  at the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier and associated to the LGC (Laboratoire Gestion & Cognition /Institute for Management Sciences and Cognition).

He got his PHD in Marketing at the University of Pau (France)  and the Institut für Entscheidungstheorie und Unternehmensforschung (Institute for decision theory and business administration at the university of  Karlsruhe (Germany). Topic: « The sources of Efficiency in Loyalty Programs-An Empirical Investigation based upon a Single Source Panel ».  

 

 

Perspectives of Toulouse

 

His doctoral thesis has been selected for its particular academic and managerial interests by the French Retailing Foundation IEMCD (Institut Européen du Marketing, du Commerce et de la Distribution). He got in  2002 the French Retailer "Casino" award and in 2003 the French Retailer "Auchan" award as well the French marketing (AfM) as well as management (FNEGE) association -award.

Together with Pr. Christophe Benavent & Pr. Wolfgang Gaul, he created in 2000 the French-German research group IRGREM (International Research Group for Relationship- and E-Marketing)  specialised in relationship marketing, customer relationship management (CRM) and e-marketing and financed by the French and German ministeries for foreign affairs.

He has been a visiting research scholar at the university of South-Australia (Adelaide) and at the university of Karlsruhe.

He was CEFAG scholar  (European Research Centre of Advanced Management Studies) and got his MBA (DEA Marketing  &  MAGISTERE OF DIRECT MARKETING) at the university (IAE) of Lille.

The subject of the MBA Thesis: " An empirical comparison of the Predictive Validity of Self-Explicated Methods , Conjoint Analysis and Hybrid Conjoint Analysis".

Before he successively occupied key-account- & product manager positions at L’OREAL in Germany.
